I'm going to go on the record as really disliking the movie Wall Street, a simplistic morality tale about a sneaky little shit who is embarrassed of his roots, chooses a sneakier shit as his surrogate father, still chooses to petulantly rebel against him, and then sells everyone out to cover his own ass while taking no responsibility for his actions. There's no real conflict; just sociopaths born for each other. Wall Street's lean redeeming qualities are:

1. That part where Charlie Sheen gets led out of the building crying, LOL

2. Talking Heads' "This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)"

The repeated use of "This Must Be The Place" is one of few hints from Oliver Stone (hardly known for his subtlety) that he's in on the joke of just how maudlin and ludicrous the movie is- it's one of the only melodic pieces in the film, placed specifically twice: as Sheen's Bud Fox laps up his capitalist spoils by redecorating his apartment, and at the film's conclusion, just as Bud enters the courthouse. David Byrne has stated that he included the "Naive Melody" parenthetical in the song's title because the bass and guitar simply mirror each other through the track, but it's cokey, "how did I get here"-era lyrics are a sublime sarcastic underscore to the falsely doe eyed willful ignorance of America's business leaders. (And politicians, as evidenced by Stone's use of Talking Heads' "Once In A Lifetime" in his underrated W.)

Below, the borough's favorite psych rockers tackle the TH track in a rare college recording, and Thousandaire (who needs to get some web presence) dunks Miles Fisher's spacey cover in a little wawa for a take that's 80's impersonality at it's most personal.

I really liked this cover. They kept true to the original but there was definitely infused verve by the performer. I have been looking to make a cover compilation. The biggest help I’ve found so far has been this site:
