I'd shown Adele some love by way of a Mick Boogie/Garbs remix in 2008's Cache Vol.1, but ever since taking the Grammy back in February, Enfield's plus size cutie pie has been errrvreywhere, no? Specious Amy Winehouse comparisons notwithstanding, 19, alongside Boogie's 1988 mixtape have yet to tire my ears, which is worlds more than could be said at the 5 month mark of Winehouse fever. Shit, "Rehab" is pretty much the new "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones.
For those not sold on Adele of yet, below is a rare taste of her rocker side, a rollicking, smoky Strokes cover performed live on Radio 1 last year. And if you like the sound of this, then we should totally talk, because I've been going crazy trying to convince people that Duffy sounds just like Dot from Animaniacs.

this is a rad cover. thanks!
Have to say that its Adele over Duffy for me any day of the week; Adele has got a voice that is a joy to listen to, whereas Duffy's voice just aggravates me...i like the songs themselves, i just can't cope with her voice singing them...
