80's Electro Cover Double Down!

Forgiving the redundancy of an acronym that translates to "Music Television Music", I'm loving Viacom's new MTVM portal, a Hulu-like player video player that should be great fun for the next months before they calculate an average CPM and start taking ad placements. (Word to the wise: keep those pre-rolls at 5 seconds, max.)

In tribute to a night wasted watching old 80's videos, two covers: The eclectic, Stereogum golden boys of RAC provide a soaring, dreamy "Take on Me", and Alabama's Computer Club tip hats to Bernard Sumner & crew with a filthily melodic take on New Order's post punk standard "Bizarre Love Triangle".

Can't wait 'till I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.
