Berlin's DJ Donna Summer (he of the Birthday Party crew, not former Three Dog Night backup singer) produces rowdy classic rock remixes with a liberal helping of the Amen break. Even ignoring the cocaine association, Manfred Mann's "Blinded by the Light" transposes to a natural house track, and with Chinese Democracy a rumored weeks away, I know at least I'm gonna be scrambling for any Appetite for Destruction throwbacks I can get my hands on this Fall. LISSEN YO.

Guns N Roses "Sweet Assed Child O' Mine (DJ Donna Summer Remix)"
In general am.fm.pm updates, this month is going to see some new regular contributors to the site. So that'll be neat. I'll be hitting up the Stereogum CMJ showcase w/Gang Gang Dance and Crystal Stilts tomorrow night; hoping to get some sort of write up out of it. As for that long bragged about interview w/E603, I'd recorded it on cassette via speaker phone, and the interference is a motherfucker to decipher dialog through. But I should have that done sooner than later. (Live and learn.) Rock!
