Can anybody confirm whether or not Natascha Stellmach actually smoked Kurt Cobain's ashes in a spliff last week? Her Set Me Free installation- featuring Near Death Experience, "a text-based work where Kurt Cobain, Adolf Hitler, Diane Arbus and the Brothers Grimm meet in a twilight zone"- wrapped on the 11th, and I haven't heard anything since. Not that I'm all that plugged into the Belgian Fan Fic/Haunted Weed scene, but still, you'd think it'd make some press if it really did go down.
Or maybe Stellmach's plan to plan to free Cobain “into the ether from the media circus” worked. Huh.
