Two Divide & Kreate tracks in one week? Yup. Two "Love Lockdown" mashes in the last week? Yup. Enjoying posing rhetorical, self-affirming questions to myself?
Yup.
Honest, the filtered vocals on this struck me a little odd on the first few listens, but damn if it hasn't grown on me. D+K is a peerless harmonic producer, and his "Silent Love" is absolutely the best Knife mash since last year's The Hood Internet/ Aesop Rock track. If electropop is R&B instanter- which it fuckin' is- then I place a Benjamin on every '09 mixtape sounding juuust like this.
