I left my iPod in my bag on Friday night, and there it stayed for the grey, humid weekend. On Saturday, I dressed up like an anthropomorphic bear at an anime convention all day for money, and that night, did a show with WCLiaC @ The Creek in L.I.C. It's a great spot- I'm not one for tequila, but they've got these one dollar half margaritas that are so great by the time we closed the joint out, there was broken glass all over the floor and candle mess everywhere from the hot wax everyone at our table kept pouring on one another. Woke up at about 3 yesterday afternoon, felt sick, hibernated on the couch, ordered so-so Indian food, went to bed and when I got up for work this morning and turned on my iPod, this track from Boston's Passion Pit was just like, on there, man.
No joke. I didn't even have to download it or anything.
