I was trying to tell this kid I know how delicate and perfect GenErik's breaks remix of José González' "Crosses" was, and he's all "Pfft, that song from The O.C.? I thought you were Mr. Hip Music Guy".
Tempted though I was to produce my own "breaks remix" of this cat's nose, I just smiled, told him it's smart mix, and walked off doing a little dub shuffle down 41st street, entirely content with the fact that this dude doesn't know I'm gonna write about him and that he's probably oblivious to that giant, honking blackhead on his left ear.
Like González himself, this is so much better than Zero 7.
