New Jamz! Mint Royale carries Cash!

Mega props to Holland's G3RSt this morning, and his JXL as hell meeting of Johnny Cash and UK Big Beat stalwarts Mint Royale. While the resulting track indeed tastes much like the estate sanctioned Elvis remixes from earlier this decade, his reverence for the source material here is truly something to be admired. (On that same note, why the hell hasn't any DJ utilized Cash's "Get Rhythm" before now?)

Make sure to hit up other G3RSt gems like the swaggertastic clash of Trent Reznor and The Donnas in his "Take Off The Beginning", the delightful sacrilege of the Led Zep/Foo Fighters mash "Pretender to Heaven", and his too-on-the-nose-to-take-off "A White Guy is Playing at My House".

In "Kenny's Last Rhythm", G3RSt has achieved the rarest of things: an entirely sampled track that won't depress you father about the state of music today.
