Before the end of August, you can expect some cool new feature articles here on am.fm.pm. Our first proper artist interview should be coming up in the next week or so, and the How I Spent My Summer Vacation piece I've been writing this past week is (I feel) is one of the best things I've ever written. TYL is back next Monday, and our comics will be returning soon as well- all this is leading up to the Q4 launch of am.fm.pmTV, a proprietary video player with exclusive content I've been developing in what meager spare time I've been afforded these past two months.
There's a part of me that wants to hate on Kissy Sell Out for so casually releasing a jam like that below, something that so perfectly captures the heady days of only three years ago when my ambitions were safely vague. Needless to say, Michael Stipe and Co. deserve their fair share of the credit for a track that so deftly balances the ease and anxiousness of one's late teens. Anybody else wanna get a crew together to break into a pool and go skinny dipping this weekend? It'll be just like that scene in Kids, minus the whole AIDS thing.
