He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship.

This past weekend, DJ Topcat's "Young Folks Rehab" rocketed am.fm.pm to the 13th most popular blog on The Hype Machine! I'm sure that the phenomenon had more to do with the fact that Topcat had mashed Peter, Bjorn, and John with Amy Winehouse- two artists with fanbases largely born of the blogosphere- than HypeM users clamoring for bedroom producers from Washington state, but I figured I'd still use the opportunity to plug one of the more consistently solid boot producers the web has to offer.

Signing up for a free account gets you access to hours of Topcat's long form mixes at his Multiply page, and as always, you'll find three personal favorites below: Official Bootie LA Top Ten placer "December 4th, Oh What A Night", the too-genius-not-to-be-a-real-hip-hop-single "50 Ways To Kill Your Lover", and a 2007 playlist staple of mine, "Hate It Or Ride It". Spook, Fancy-Fancy, and Benny the Ball ain't got nothin', man.
