I'll be damned if I can figure out how The Arkiteks jumped from producing direct-to-McDonald's soul mixtapes to working with Missy Elliott in as short a time frame as they did, but I feel that big congratulations are in order. Their metered, thumpy collaboration "Ching-A-Ling" sounds like staying up too late with your roommates playing Rock Band while your downstairs neighbor bangs on her ceiling with a broom trying to get you to shut the fuck up- and then the power goes out and a fire alarm is pulled, and there's that three seconds or so of everyone still banging and looking like an asshole and having a good time in the dark. Those three seconds prior to composure are you at your most natural and uninhibited- something Elliott has always held true to. And that Busta lyric is fucking hi-larious.
