UK Mashup maestro and XFM favorite Dunproofin has just released his latest track, pitting Danish pop septet Alphabeat (above) and their Katrina-and-the-Wavesy "Fascination" against The Futureheads' Top 10 charting cover of Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love". Lovingly built on a stacatto "Oh Oh Ohhhohhh" call and answer between the respective singles, it's got me thinking: You know how the movie studios are reevaluating the idea of January-April as a cinematic dumping ground thanks to the success of last year's 300? That needs to happen for super positive pop music.
Below, Dunproofin's re-up, the original single, and an old school Dunproofin essential. Dip a Lik-a-Stik in a Lik-M-Aid and eat.
