We don't go to Brooklyn.

Yeah! Big ups to C, C + C Improv Factory on their 96 - 89 victory over house stalwarts Reuben Williams at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre's Cage Match Tournament Finals last night. UCB House Manager Chuck Dauble, Late Night performer Charlie Sanders, and Improv Everywhere founder Charlie Todd brought one of their most thoroughly enjoyable sets since their November 07's trouncing of high concept lady team Working Girls. (Really though, I'm just a sucker for games with Dauble and Todd plotting to usurp a power mad Sanders.)

Sidenote: today marks the 79th day of the WGA strike. Happy with your choices, NBC?

C & C Music Factory Feat. Freedom Williams "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)"

Additionally, this past Wednesday heralded the launch of the brand new media portal UCBComedy.com, a home on the web for the theatre's creative talent to showcase their video work. (It's great! Go! Watch! Embed! Link!) Below, check out "Cabtastrophe", a bitterly sharp post-apocalyptic comedy short featuring Sanders alongside his Buffoons teammates Bobby Moynihan and Eugene Cordero. With a vibe that feels like John Carpenter at his most sarcastic, it's the perfect fit for that Cthulhu movie that isn't opening today.
