It turns out yesterday's apocalyptic clairvoyance may have been nothing more than a side effect of what psychologist Cliff Arnall has dubbed "Blue Monday", that yearly compunding of post holiday debt, failed New Year's resolutions, and shitty weather.
Though, to be fair, general apathy, a crummy day at the office, and the death of the Joker didn't help either.
